MR. GARY DANIEL “DINGUS” JERRELLS, of Cross City ,passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008, at his brother’s home. He was 50 years old. Mr. Jerrells was a truck driver in the logging business. He spent many enjoyable hours fishing. He attended Calvary Temple in Cross City. He is survived by his sons, Jamie Cunningham of Cross City and John Cunningham, Jr. of Georgia; daughter, Kim Sherrod of Lake Wales; parents, Morris and Julia Jerrells of Cross City; brothers, Nathan Jerrells and Manuel Jerrells, both of Cross City, Randy Jerrells of Old Town, Vince Jerrells and Robert Jerrells, both of Cross City; sister, Martha Murray of Cross City; and 6 grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Old Town with Rev. Jim Hurst offi ciating. A visitation was held Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the funeral home, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Arrangements were placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City, Florida 352-498-5914.
