Susan Lovelace Geer, 32, of Old Town, departed from her earthly home on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, after a seven-month illness. She is survived by her two sons, Ethan Alexander, 6, and Aaron Michael, 5; husband, Trey; her father, William S. “Billy” Lovelace, mother, Margarete Lovelace; sister, Claudia (John) Calhoun, and her grandmother, Velma G. Lovelace. Susan was greeted at her destination by her brother, William S. “Woody” Lovelace, III and her grandfather, William S. “Red” Lovelace, Sr. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We take great comfort in knowing that she is in a much better place than we. •There was a memorial service held Wednesday, July 2nd, 11 a.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church of Cross City. •Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service held Thursday, July 3rd, 6 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Cross City. Dress is casual and comfortable, Susan would want it that way.

Kimberly Caldwell Says..

Susan, I was thinking of you just a couple days ago. I ran across this site tonight. I didnt know you were even sick. I havent seen you in 16 years. You left an impression on me. We rode the bus together and talked at school. You drew a picture of my face. I never forgot you. Now after 16 years I still can remember the conversations we had. That should show just how much you will be missed. May God bless you with the wings you so deserve.
