MRS. DELMA McCALL STEWART, of Steinhatchee, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Stewart was born on December 31, 1916 to Calvin and Lella McCall in Taylor County, Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Steinhatchee. Mrs. Stewart is survived by daughters Mazelle Futch of Orlando, Fran Carlton of Orlando and Peggy Robbins of Stuart; grandchildren Larry Matthis, Angelia Happ, Lynne Martin, Julie Lawson, Cindy Robbins, Robin Robbins, Gary Robbins; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald McCall; sisters Pat Laprade and Myrl Wood. Her husband, Daniel J. Stewart and son, Daniel J. Stewart, Jr., preceded her in death. Funeral Services for Mrs. Stewart were held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Steinhatchee with Rev. Aaron Turner offi ciating. Burial followed at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Jena, Florida. A “Friends and Family Fellowship” was held before the service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the church fellowship hall. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Servants’ Heart Ministry, 5519 Gross Court, Orlando, Florida, 32810. Arrangements were placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City, Florida, 352-498-5400. |
